We’re thrilled about Hollow Knight: Silksong, a sequel to the beloved Metroidvania. It stars Hornet and takes place in the mysterious land of Pharloom. Team Cherry refined her combat skills, expanded the world, and added a quest system. The release date was confirmed as September 4, 2025.
2. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
This new Lego game brings a darker tone and an open-world Gotham. It draws from the Arkham-style action but in LEGO form. TT Games used tech from The Skywalker Saga to create a more immersive city. 3. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
The next entry in the Call of Duty series, Black Ops 7 shines with co-op campaign features and a new PvE mode called Endgame. It’s set in 2035, delivering dramatic sci-fi action. Actors Milo Ventimiglia and Kiernan Shipka headline the story. The release date is November 14, 2025.
4. Pragmata
Capcom’s Pragmata mixes sci-fi shooting with grid-style puzzles. You play as an astronaut named Hugh, on a lunar base with rogue androids. You solve icon puzzles mid-combat while your robot companion Diana helps with combat and humor. It impressed many in hands-on demos at Gamescom and is expected in 2026 TechRadar.
5. Black Myth: Zhong Kui
Game Science revealed a sequel to Black Myth: Wukong, titled Black Myth: Zhong Kui. This action RPG stars Zhong Kui, the ghost-catching god. The announcement dropped during Opening Night Live on August 19, 2025, although the date may appear as August 20 depending on your time zone Wikipedia. There is no release date yet, but fans can look forward to more myth-inspired adventure.
6. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV
A long-awaited return to the popular RTS series, Dawn of War IV delivers base building, stratagems, and customizable units with a “Painter” tool. New factions like Adeptus Mechanicus and Necrons join the fight. The game was announced at Gamescom and is slated for 2026 on Windows.
